Forestry and Gardening

The Forestry and gardeningForestry and Gardening Project aims to improve the quality of life for adults with learning difficulties through providing work in gardens, local forests and council / housing association properties.

The squads carry out work in Dumfries and Galloway, five days a week, throughout the year.

Recent projects include work with the Forestry Commission and maintenance of old burial grounds. There are currently three squads working with three supervisors. The project provides opportunities for around 30 adults.
